Bow Fiddle Rock

Peak District

We visited the Bow Fiddle Rock a few days prior and I had the thought “I wonder whether the sun will rise through the gap”, and sure enough, it did! So I went back…

This was an early Photoshoot! Alarm set for 3:15am for a 30 minute drive to the Bow Fiddle Rock for a 4am start! Sunrise at 5:05 gave me plenty of time to work out all of the compositions as the sun rose. This was a fantastic sunrise with a gap in the cloud at the perfect elevation to allow the sun to peak through the rock for a brief few minutes.
